Cut and Paste, Create-A-Picture: Playmates
Restored Playbook of the late 30s
New Reduced Pricing
Didn't you just love these cut-and-paste make-a-picture books when you were a kid? I sure did! We called them "do-books"...anything that offered something to DO other than just coloring. My mom had this pretty book, and I have formatted it to play with today. The art has a Deco look to it with the hard-edged clear-color style.
Since gluesticks make easy work of pasting now, (old school mucilage glue was so messy and brown!) all you need is a good pair of scissors to cut the colored pieces, and glue stick to put them in their places, and voila! you have a pretty picture. Kids can feel accomplished when doing something with their hands and seeing the finished product that they can keep, unlike games and such on computers and digitized hand toys.
All archival: 80# coverstock covers, 32# inside pages, smooth-grained paper which is sooo nice and easy to cut, all stored in a crystal clear seal-topped bag.
