A 20 page collection of Vintage Magazine
Paper Doll Play Ideas
Compiled and Arranged by Judy M Johnson
My mom, Helen Johnson, has a FAT binder of Jack and Jill Magazine paper dolls and paper toys...and more of those collections, you will be seeing soon. All but two of the ideas in this book are from Jack and Jill magazines of the 40s and 50s.
This group has fun ideas for stretching out your paper doll playtime. Get ideas to make storage, clothes of various means, accessories, furniture, repair, display, and more. Do the projects yourself, or with friends (big or small) or with young family members.
The title is inspired by a poem in an early 50s J+J magazine, written by Priscilla May Moore. We have put the poem on the back cover, along with a few of the activities shown as finished products near the two girls. Some of the artists-idea contributors are: Peg Geiszel, Olive B Davis, Rita Oliver, Kathryn Twomey, Daphne Wilson, Susanne Kaestner, Sally & Nancy Schmear, and others.
Finished book size is 8.5" x 11". All laser printed on archival top-grade, fine-grained, smooth-finish, easy-to-cut papers. Presented in a crystal clear archival seal-top bag. No die-cutting or perforating. You cut them in the old-fashioned way.
