Four Antique German
Paper Doll Panels
From the Estate of Jane Sugg
(Discounts & coupons do not apply)
The only identification on each of these four pages is "Made in Germany" As it's in English, we may assume that they were printed as exports for English and American markets.
There is no dating. Costumes place them in the late 1890s. The paper is old as well, so we don't think they are later reprints. Size each: 11.75" x 8"
Sheet one has one boy, 3 girls and a tot with 9 costumes.
Sheet two has 4 girls, a boy and a tot, with 8 costumes.
(two of the dolls and 2 outfits are the same as sheet 1)
Sheet three has 3 girls, a tot, and a boy. Each of the dolls and some of the outfits appears on either one of the other sheets.
Sheet four has 3 girls, a toddler and little child (boy or girl) The two little ones are repeated from a couple other panels. However the 3 girls are different from the rest.
We have just this one set like this, so act quickly if you want these paper dolls.
