Magazine Paper Doll
This very doll is one that inspired me as a child in the 50s. How intriguing to see clothes made flattish, but with real cloth! I remember trying so diligently, to get gathers and folds to stick down to my base form. What kind of glue did I have? Not Elmer's! I was just 8 years old.
Instructions offer suggestions for the child to make her own using these pages as a guide.
From August 1954 Woman's Day Magazine.
Ours has been cleaned up (gee, the fabric they used was raggedy with frayed fibers) and laser printed on 80# archival cardstock. 8.5" x 11"
