During the 1950s most children's activities magazines had paper dolls and paper toys in them. Here's one from the February 1957 issue of Wee Wisdom magazine for children. The art is submitted by a young girl, 13 year old Charlene Ball, and redrawn for the magazine by Dorothy Wagstaf. HOW TO DOWNLOAD:
* Just move through the process and proceed to checkout as if you are buying the set. No charges will "ring up" This is the way this website is set-up and the only way I have to get this free set to you. Please hang in there.
* You'll see a "Verify order"- click "save", then move onto check-out. When you get to the end or your order, there will be a link that indicates the number of your order (such as Order PPG-476) Click that, then it takes you to a review of the order, and you will see download above the order and one below the order. Please select "free product" for your "payment method." When you select FREE PRODUCT, then no shipping will be calculated.
* Click the bottom one, and when a box opens up, click Save or Open. Then you can either save it to one of your files. Or print it immediately. (If you use this process we will add you to our paper doll update mailing list)
This is a free download of a restored paper doll. Just proceed as if you are buying the paper doll, but it will finalize as ZERO due. At the end of your order, there is a clickable "Download". Click on that and you can save or print the paper doll in full size on your own 8.5"x11" paper. If you use this download option, you will be added to our paper doll update newsletter list.
