Sheila Young is most noted (and loved) for her Lettie Lane, and Betty Bonnet series of paper dolls in Ladies Home Journal. This Polly Pratt series she painted for Good Housekeeping. The pages are restored from scans made of my Mom, Helen Johnson's collection.
The series began with two pages of paper dolls per issue. The first in the series also included a page painted of girls playing with paper dolls, and a personal note for "the kiddies" from Miss Young, introducing the Polly Pratt paper dolls. Mother has the entire collection, so we will be adding Volume II to complete the Polly Pratt series.
Finished book size 8.5X11, 13 pages of full color paper doll, 1 page illustration and message from Sheila Young, and two covers. All archival; 80# coverstock covers, 32# inside pages, top grade smooth grained papers. Stored in a crystal clear seal-topped bag.
