DRAMATIC ADVERTISING LADIES
Designed by Judy M Johnson
As you, dear people, are trying new ways to enjoy paper and paper art, and have responded so well to the new bookmarks, I thought I'd try making some tags. They are "all the rage" in paper crafting, meaning I am seeing them more and more. A good friends has been on a tag kick for nearly a year now, and designing some gorgeous tags. She's a professional artist, but not all of our people are, and they like something from which to springboard.
This is one of my versions of a starting off point. They are all placed on a dramatic black background...as several of them were already on black...I did them all that way. There is enough plain black for you to add a couple words of greeting, or someone's name.
The ads are from 1919 to 1949. Ads include, Vita Fluff powder of the 40s, Mavis perfume 1919, Treo Girdle 1924, Cashmere Bouquet 1949, Pears Soap 1930s and Kina Wine 1931.
You can cut these out, punch a hole at the top, put a ribbon through and call it done. OR you can enhance them with glitters, glazes, sparkles and words or names...to use as little gifts, as party favors or place markers...or use in the 'normal" way as a gift tag on a package, or even a plant our bouquet of flowers.
Six tags printed on archival 80# coverstock, 8.5" x 11" for you to cut out and use. Presented in a crystal clear seal-top bag.
