TOWN and COUNTRY by Betty Campbell
Restored Book from FMN Publ.
First printed in the mid 30s by Sam Gabriel for a Detroit company, Household Paper Products, we are delighted to present you with our restored version. The book we rented was all there except the 4 little girl dolls were missing. Soo I remodeled other Betty Campbell dolls from the Little Miss America book which I happen to have. Then I put all the dolls on the back cover.
There were originally five full color costume pages (which look like Campbell's art) and six black & white costume pages. I painted one of those, making six full color, and five for you to color. The cover art appears to be painted by a fashion illustrator, as it looks just like it's from a fashion magazine. I like the way the new book turned out.
This is a stapled BOOK. We are delighted to present this vintage restored/reprinted "perfect bound" (stapled) book from Forget-me-Not Publishing (FMN). These are 11”x17" sheets printed in permanent laser colors, on top grade papers, folded and stapled to a finished size of 8.5x11. This new formatting may result in a reduction of 5 to 23% smaller than the originally published size. Costume pages are on Bright white archival 32# laser paper. Covers are on archival 80# laser cover stock paper. These papers are a dream to cut...nice clean edges, no popping of inks, very smooth and fun to handle. We slip the book into a crystal clear archival protective seal-top to keep it nice and clean.
